Driver Door Lock Switch Failure
Tests 1 - 3:
SYMPTOM
DRIVER DOOR LOCK SWITCH FAILURE
WHEN MONITORED:
Each switch inside the door has a unique resistance value which when activated sends a voltage level to the BCM. The BCM will interpret the different levels and perform the desired function.
SET CONDITION:
The BCM senses a voltage of 3.0 volts (± 250 mV) on the LF door switch MUX circuit for longer than 8 seconds.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Driver door lock switch voltage low
- Driver door lock switch internal failure
- Driver door lock switch sticking
