Passenger Door MUX Circuit Shorted to Ground

Tests 1 - 2:

SYMPTOM
PASSENGER DOOR MUX circuit shorted to ground

WHEN MONITORED:
Each switch inside the door has a unique resistance value which when activated sends a voltage level to the BCM. The BCM will interpret the different levels and perform the desired function.

SET CONDITION:
The BCM senses a voltage below 4 volts on the RF door switch MUX circuit.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Right front door switch MUX shorted to ground
- Right front door switch circuit intermittent short to ground
- Pass door switch MUX circuit at BCM defective
