DR-3A Fault Code 12-Transmission Unlock Relay

1. Connect diagnostic readout box to engine harness connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter between terminal 5 of relay and ground.
3. Put system in ATM Test Mode 92.
4. If voltmeter reads within one volt of battery voltage and remains steady, proceed to Step B. DR-3B Transmission Unlock Relay Control Circuit
5. If voltmeter pulsates 0 and 2 volts, proceed to Step C. DR-3C Voltage to Transmission Unlock Relay Coil
6. If voltmeter pulsates once between 2 and 10 volts then locks within one volt of battery voltage and relay clicks once, proceed to Step D. DR-3D Transmission Unlock Relay Ground
7. If voltmeter reads 0 to 1 volt and remains steady, proceed to Step E. DR-3E Transmission Unlock Relay Pull In Coil Circuit
