Left Front Door Mux Circuit Shorted to Ground

SYMPTOM
LEFT FRONT DOOR MUX CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND
WHEN MONITORED
Each switch inside the door has a unique resistance value which when activated sends a voltage level to the BCM. The BCM will interpret the different levels and perform the desired function.
SET CONDITION
The BCM senses a voltage below 4 volts on the LF door switch MUX circuit.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Left front door switch MUX circuit shorted to ground
- Left front door switch circuit intermittent shorted to ground
- Driver door switch MUX circuit at BCM defective
