Right Front Door Mux Circuit Shorted to Ground

Tests 801 - 802:

SYMPTOM
RIGHT FRONT DOOR MUX CIRCUIT SHORT TO GROUND

WHEN MONITORED
Each switch inside the door has a unique resistance value which when activated sends a voltage level to the BCM. The BCM will interpret the different levels and perform the desired function.

SET CONDITION
The BCM senses a voltage below 4 volts on the RF door switch MUX circuit.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Right front door switch MUX shorted to ground
- Right front door switch circuit intermittent shorted to ground
- Pass door switch MUX circuit at BCM defective
