SYMPTOM
P-0320 NO CRANK REFERENCE SIGNAL AT PCM

WHEN MONITORED
During engine cranking.

SET CONDITION
No signal from the crank position sensor is present during engine cranking, and at least 3 cam position signals have occurred.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- CKP sensor ground circuit open
- CKP sensor defective
- 5-volt supply circuit open
- 5-volt supply circuit short to ground
- CKP signal circuit open
- CKP signal circuit short to ground
- CKP wiring harness & connector intermittent defect
- CKP wiring harness and connector observable defect
- CKP sensor connector terminal corroded, damaged, pushed out or miswired
- PCM connector terminal corroded, damaged, pushed out or miswired
- PCM defective (no crank reference signal at PCM)
