SYMPTOM
P-1756 GOV PRESS NOT EQUAL TO TARGET @ 15-20 PSI

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key on and engine running, not in Park or neutral or any other MIL illuminations.

SET CONDITION
A fault condition is identified if the output of the governor pressure sensor is below 15 PSI or above 30 PSI when the requested pressure is between 20 and 25 PSI for 2.2 seconds. The code is set when after five consecutive bad 2.2 second tests.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- DRB shows other transmission codes
- 5 V supply circuit to solenoid pack connector open
- Governor pressure sensor defective
- Fluid burnt, debris in pan press not between 40 and 55 psi
- Fluid burnt, debris in pan pressure not less than 5 psi
- Pressure not between 40 and 55 psi
- Pressure not less than 5 psi
- Transmission leaking internally
