SYMPTOM
P-1762 GOV PRESS SEN OFFSET VOLTS TOO LOW OR HIGH

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key on and engine running.

SET CONDITION
A fault condition is identified if the governor pressure is out of range in park or neutral for 1.3 seconds. The code will be set after three consecutive bad tests.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- 5-volt supply circuit open
- Governor pressure sensor ground circuit open
- GOV press sen wiring harn intermittent defect
- GOV press sen wiring harn intermittent defect
- Transmission pan/filter debris
- Park/neutral switch not operating
- Transmission fluid problem
