SYMPTOM
P-0712 TRANS TEMP SENSOR VOLTAGE TOO LOW

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key on and engine running.

SET CONDITION
The transmission temperature sensor (TTS) signal circuit voltage goes below 1.55 volts for 2.2 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Transmission pressure/temperature sensor def
- Sensor signal circuit short to ground
- Sensor signal circuit short to sensor ground ckt
- Transmission solenoid/harness assembly defective (gnd ckt)
- Transmission solenoid/harness assembly defective (sig ckt)
- Transmission temperature sensor wiring harness intermittent defect
- PCM defective
- Transmission temperature sensor wiring harness observable defect
- Inactive trouble code condition
