P-0743 TORQUE CONV CLUTCH SOLENOID/TRANS RELAY CKT

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key on.

SET CONDITION
This code is set if the voltage detected on the TCC Solenoid Control Circuit at the PCM is different than the expected voltage.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Fused B(+) feed to the transmission ctrl ckt open
- PCM defective (res 26.0 to 40.0 ohms)
- Transmission control relay defective
- TCC solenoid control circuit open
- TCC solenoid control circuit shorted to ground
- Transmission control relay output circuit open
- Transmission ctrl relay output ckt shorted to gnd
- PCM defective (above 10 volts)
- Inactive trouble code condition
- TCC solenoid wiring harness intermittent defect (code)
- TCC solenoid wiring harness intermittent defect (road test)
- TCC solenoid wiring harness observable defect
- PCM defective (solenoid control circuit shorted to circuit)
- PCM defective (solenoid harness defective)
- Solenoid & harness assembly defective (conn)
- Solenoid and harness assembly defective (to gnd)
