SYMPTOM
P-1757 GOV PRES ABOVE 3 PSI IN GEAR WITH 0 MPH

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key on and engine running.

SET CONDITION
A fault condition is identified if output of governor pressure sensor is above 3 PSI when the requested pressure is 0 PSI with the Governor Pressure Solenoid duty cycle at 95% for 2.65 seconds. Code is set when after 2 consecutive bad 2.65 second tests.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- No possible causes remaining
- Other transmission codes
- 5-volt supply circuit open
- Transmission mechanical problem
- Valve body defective
- Wiring and connectors observable defect
- Wiring harness intermittent defect
- Governor pressure sensor defective
