P-1762 GOV PRESS SEN OFFSET VOLTS TOO LOW OR HIGH
WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key on and engine running.
SET CONDITION
A fault condition is identified if the governor pressure is out of range in park or neutral for 1.3 seconds. The code will be set after three consecutive bad tests.

- No possible causes remaining
- 5-volt supply circuit open
- Gov press sen wiring harn intermittent defect
- Governor pressure sensor ground circuit open
- Park/Neutral switch defective
- Park/Neutral switch not operating correctly
- Gov press sensor harness intermittent defect
- Gov press sensor harness observable defect
- Transmission fluid excessive debris
- Transmission fluid problem
