P0222 - IDLE VALIDATION SIGNALS BOTH LOW

WHEN MONITORED
Key-On.

SET CONDITION
Both IVS # 1 and/or IVS # 2 indicate no voltage signal.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor
- APPS ground circuit open
- IVS # 1 short circuit
- IVS # 2 short circuit
- IVS # 1 circuit open
- IVS # 2 circuit open
- IVS # 1 circuit shorted to ground
- IVS # 2 circuit shorted to ground
- IVS # 1 circuit shorted to sensor ground
- IVS # 2 circuit shorted to sensor ground
- IVS # 1 circuit shorted to APPS return
- IVS # 2 circuit shorted to APPS return
- Engine Control Module
