P0223 - IDLE VALIDATION SIGNALS BOTH HIGH (ABOVE 5 VOLTS)

WHEN MONITORED
Key-On.

SET CONDITION
Both IVS # 1 and/or IVS # 2 indicate voltage signal.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- ACCEL pedal position sensor
- APPS ground circuit open
- IVS # 1 circuit open
- IVS # 2 circuit open
- IVS # 1 circuit shorted to voltage (engine running
- IVS # 1 circuit shorted to voltage (key ON)
- IVS # 2 circuit shorted to voltage (engine running
- IVS # 2 circuit shorted to voltage (key ON)
- Engine Control Module (APPS)
- Engine Control Module (IVS # 1)
- Engine Control Module (IVS # 2)
