SYMPTOM
P0743 - TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH SOLENOID/TRANSMISSION RELAY CIRCUITS

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key ON.

SET CONDITION
This code is set if the voltage detected on the TCC Solenoid Control Circuit at the PCM is different than the expected voltage.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Fused B(+) feed to the transmission control circuit OPEN
- PCM (resistance 26.0 to 40.0 ohms)
- Transmission control relay
- TCC solenoid control circuit open
- TCC solenoid control circuit shorted to ground
- Transmission control relay output circuit open
- Transmission control relay output circuit shorted to ground
- PCM (above 10 volts)
- Inactive trouble code condition
- TCC solenoid wiring harness intermittent defect (code)
- TCC solenoid wiring harness intermittent defect (road test)
- TCC solenoid wiring harness observable defect
- PCM (solenoid control circuit shorted to circuit)
- PCM (solenoid harness)
- Solenoid & harness assembly (connector)
- Solenoid and harness assembly (to ground)
