SYMPTOM
P1763 - GOVERNOR PRESSURE SENSOR VOLTS TOO HIGH

WHEN MONITORED
Continuously with the key ON and engine running.

SET CONDITION
The voltage from the Governor Pressure Sensor is above 4.89 volts for 8.5 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- 5 volt supply circuit open
- Governor pressure sensor ground circuit open
- Governor pressure/temperature sensor
- Governor press sensor signal circuit shorted to voltage
- Governor pressure sensor signal circuit open
- Governor pressure sensor signal circuit shorted to voltage
- Transmission harness/solenoid (signal circuit > 5.0 ohms)
- Transmission harness/solenoid assembly (signal circuit)
- Governor pressure/temperature sensor
- Powertrain Control Module
- Transmission harness/solenoid (ground circuit > 5.0 ohms)
- Transmission harness/solenoid (signal circuit > 1.0 volt)
- Transmission harness/solenoid assembly (ground circuit)
- Transmission harness/solenoid assembly
- Governor pressure sensor wiring harness intermittent defect
- Governor pressure sensor wiring harness observable defect
