SYMPTOM
P1493-AMBIENT/BATT TEMP SENSOR VOLTS TOO LOW

WHEN MONITORED
With the ignition ON.

SET CONDITION
The PCM senses the voltage from the AMBIENT/BATT Temperature Sensor below 0.5 of a volt for 3 seconds.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Intermittent condition
- Ambient/Batt temperature signal circuit short to ground
- Ambient/Batt temp sensor signal circuit shorted to the sensor ground circuit
- Ambient/Batt temperature sensor
- PCM
