SYMPTOM
P2127-LOW VOLTAGE AT THE THROTTLE VALIDATION SWITCH

WHEN MONITORED
Key on.

SET CONDITION
Both Idle and Not Idle switches are in the same state simultaneously for a calibrated amount of time. Or, the voltage detected on the PPS 2 circuit is below a calibrated value.

POSSIBLE CAUSES
- Damaged wiring harness or connectors
- Failed APPS
- Idle switch open circuit
- Not idle switch open circuit
- Sensor 1 return open circuit
- Idle switch circuit shorted to supply or 12 Volts
- Not idle switch circuit shorted to supply or 12 Volts.
- Failed ECM
- Failed PPS
- Open PPS 2 signal circuit
- Open PPS 2 supply circuit
- PPS 2 signal circuit shorted to ground or return
- PPS 2 supply circuit shorted to ground or return
