POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1


Diagnostic Test


1. Perform Power Folding Seat System Verification Test
Disconnect all jumper wires and reconnect all previously disconnected components and connectors.
Ensure that all accessories are turned off.
Ensure that the battery is fully charged.

NOTE: If either the Folding Seat Module (FSM) or the mechanism that contains the recliner hard stop was replaced, the Recliner End Of Travel Calibration routine must be performed at this time using the scan tool. Ensure all four power 3rd row seat leg latches are latched prior to performing the Recliner End Of Travel Calibration routine.


Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool erase FSM DTCs.
Operate the folding seat in all positions with the Folding Seat Switch and each seat recliner switch.
With the scan tool check for DTCs in the FSM.
Are DTCs present or is the original condition still present?

Yes


- The repair is not complete. Diagnose and repair the DTC(s) or symptom that is still present.


No


- The repair is complete.
