Intake Manifold - Removal
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.Battery Cables - Removal
2. Drain the coolant.Service and Repair
3. Remove air filter housing.
4. Remove the intake air tube.
5. Perform the fuel pressure release procedure. Service and Repair
6. Disconnect the PCM connector.
7. Remove the PCM.
8. Remove the PCM bracket bolts.
9. Remove the PCM bracket.
10. Disconnect the fuel rail electrical connectors.
11. Remove the engine wiring harness bolts.
12. Position aside the engine wiring harness.
13. Remove the power brake booster vacuum line connector.
14. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow sensor.
15. Remove the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF).
16. Remove the oil separator tube from the oil separator.
17. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation sensor hose.
18. Disconnect the right hand exhaust camshaft position sensor.
19. Disconnect the right hand intake camshaft position sensor.
20. Disconnect the left hand exhaust camshaft position sensor.
21. Disconnect the left hand intake camshaft position sensor.
22. Disconnect the Short Runner connector.
23. Disconnect the throttle sensor connector.
24. Disconnect the Tumbler Valve Solenoid connector.
25. Disconnect the MAP Sensor harness connector.
26. Disconnect the Electronic throttle control solenoid connector.
27. Position the engine harness aside.
28. Disconnect the fuel injector harness connectors.
29. Release the fuel rail pressure.
30. Disconnect the fuel line.
31. Remove the fuel rail bolts.
32. Remove the fuel rail.
33. Disconnect the EVAP purge solenoid hose.
34. Disconnect the power brake booster vacuum line at the intake manifold.
35. Disconnect the air pump solenoid vacuum line.
36. Remove the intake manifold bolts.
37. Remove the intake manifold.
