Fuse Panel
FUSE PANELS
WARNING: On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, you must thoroughly read and follow all High Voltage Safety procedures. In addition, before performing any diagnostic or service procedure near a high voltage component, you must perform the High Voltage Power Down. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury
CAUTION: When replacing a blown fuse, it is important to use only a fuse having the correct amperage rating. The use of a fuse with a rating other than indicated may result in a dangerous electrical system overload. If a properly rated fuse continues to blow, it suggests a problem in the circuit that must be corrected.
NOTE: If leaving the vehicle dormant for longer than 21 days you may want to take steps to protect the battery. To do this disconnect the battery or disconnect the two Ignition Off Draw (IOD) fuses located in the auxiliary Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment. The IOD cavities include a snap in retainer that allows the fuses to be disconnected without removing them from the fuse block. To reconnect the IOD fuses press them back into the cavity.
