Power Liftgate Latch - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Remove the liftgate trim panel Liftgate Trim Panel - Removal.
3. Disconnect the power locking latch cable (1) from the exterior liftgate handle (2) and remove the cable from the handle.





4. Disconnect the power liftgate latch electrical connector (1).
5. Remove the latch retaining screws (3) and remove the latch (2).
