Park Assist Module - Removal






REMOVAL






1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery.

2. Remove the trim from the right quarter inner panel (2) to access the Park Assist Module (PAM) (1), which is located to the rear of the C-pillar and above the right rear wheel housing. Quarter Trim Panel - Removal.

3. If equipped, remove the Passive Entry (PE) Low Frequency (LF) antenna to access the park assist module fastener. Passive Entry Antenna - Removal.

4. Disconnect the two body wire harness connectors (3) from the PAM connector receptacles.

5. Remove the plastic push-in fastener (4) that secures the PAM to the right quarter inner panel.

6. Slide the module upward far enough to disengage the two lower mounting tabs from the stamped pockets in the right quarter inner panel.

7. Remove the PAM from the vehicle.
