Gearshift Knob - Installation

INSTALLATION






1. Install the knob to the shift mechanism shaft. The shaft has a flat locating feature to aid in installation.





2. Install the shifter knob to the shifter mechanism by firmly pushing downward until seated.





3. Install the nut to the shifter shaft. Tighten the nut to 4 Nm (35 in. lbs.).





4. Line up the shifter knob bezel locating tab (1) prior to installing onto the knob. The tab will be in the 12:00 position.





5. Firmly press the shifter cover (1) to the shifter knob (2).
