AA16 - Check Continuity of PIP Circuit

- Key "OFF".

- Disconnect Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Inspect for damaged or pushed out pins, corrosion, loose wires, etc. Service as necessary.

- Install breakout box, leave PCM disconnected.

- Governor Control Module (GCM) disconnected.

- Measure resistance between Pin 17 at GCM and test pin 56 at breakout box.

- Is resistance less than 5.0 ohms?

Yes -- Go to AA17. AA17 - Check Continuity of PIP Circuit

No -- Service open circuit. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
