Q1 Check For Fault Repeatability

- Clear all diagnostic trouble code's with the New Generation Star (NGS) tester.

- Drive vehicle briefly over 4 mph. Perform hard brake application

- If amber ABS warning lamp turns ON, pull diagnostic trouble code's using New Generation Star (NGS) tester.

- Is code C1238 obtained?

YES -- Closed reset switch concern is repeatable. Key OFF. Go to Q2. Q2 Determine If Cause Is Internal/External to Control Module

NO -- Amber ABS warning lamp did not turn ON. Reset switch concern is intermittent. Key OFF. Go to Q4. Q4 Check For Intermittent Reset Switch Fault
