P: LFC 46/DTC B1230-Drivers Preten. Ckt Resist. Out of Range

Normal Operation
The air bag Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) monitors the resistance of the driver belt and buckle assembly pretensioner circuit by measuring the resistance between Pins C200-24 and C200-25. If the ECS detects low or high resistance, the ECS will store DTC B1230 in memory and flash LFC 46 (or higher priority code if one exists) on the air bag indicator.

Possible Causes
An out of range resistance on the driver belt and buckle assembly pretensioner circuit can be caused by:
- damaged wiring on Circuit 1079 (LG/R) or 1080 (LG/BK).
- damaged driver belt and buckle assembly pretensioner.
