Normal Operation
The parking aid system is enabled when the ignition switch is in the RUN position and the transmission is in REVERSE. The system can be disabled by the parking aid disable switch.

Possible Causes
- parking aid disable switch
- parking aid module
- circuit 1435 (DG/VT) short to ground
