Normal Operation
The liftgate window glass switch is hardwired to the smart junction box through circuit CPL45 and is grounded through circuit GD143 (GN). Circuit CPL45 is (BN) at the SJB and (GN) at the liftgate window glass switch. When the liftgate window glass release switch is pressed, circuit CPL45 (GN) provides a ground to the smart junction box (SJB) through the liftgate window glass switch to circuit GD143 (GN). The SJB then supplies voltage to the liftgate window glass actuator through circuit CPL59 (BN/BU). The liftgate window glass actuator is grounded through circuit GD149 (BK/GY).
Possible Causes
- circuit CPL45 (GN) (liftgate window glass switch) open or short to ground
- circuit CPL45 (BN) (SJB) open or short to ground
- circuit CPL59 (BN/BU) open or short to ground
- circuit GD143 (GN) open
- circuit GD149 (BK/GY) open
- liftgate window glass switch
- liftgate window glass actuator
- SJB
