Normal Operation
The digital versatile disc (DVD) player routes audio signals to the audio unit. In single-play mode, the audio unit plays the DVD audio on all speakers. In dual-play mode, the DVD player controls the rear speakers (except THX(R) ) and the headphones.

Possible Causes
- Circuit RME17 (GY) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit RME18 (YE) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit VME17 (GN) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit VME18 (VT) open, short to ground or voltage
- DVD player
- Audio unit
