Normal Operation
The power liftgate (PLG) chime is controlled by the PLG module. To activate the chime, the PLG module supplies a high frequency voltage output on circuit CPR56 (VT/BN) and ground on circuit RPR56 (GY/VT).

Possible Causes
- PLG module diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B236A chime output circuit open
- PLG module DTC B2903 chime output circuit short to battery
- PLG module DTC B2940 chime output circuit short to ground
- Circuit CPR56 (VT/BN) or RPR56 (GY/VT) open, short to voltage or short to ground
