Normal Operation
The door lock control switches supply a ground signal to the vehicle security module (VSM). When the VSM receives ground through circuit 119 (PK/YE), the VSM grounds circuits 163 (RD/OG) and 118 (PK/OG), while energizing circuit 117 (PK/BK) to lock the doors. When the VSM reads ground at circuit 120 (PK/LG), the VSM grounds circuit 117 (PK/BK), while energizing circuits 163 (RD/OG) and 118 (PK/OG) to unlock the doors. The driver and passenger door lock control switch circuits are spliced together within the wiring harness.

DTC B1309 - is an on-demand DTC that sets if the VSM detects a short to ground on the driver door lock switch circuit 119 (PK/YE).

DTC B1341 - is an on-demand DTC that sets if the VSM detects a short to ground on the driver door unlock switch circuit 120 (PK/LG).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 119 (PK/YE) open, short to ground or voltage
- Circuit 120 (PK/LG) open, short to ground or voltage
- Door lock control switch
- VSM
