Test E: The Delayed Accessory Relay Does Not Turn Off

PINPOINT TEST E: THE DELAYED ACCESSORY RELAY DOES NOT TURN OFF

Normal Operation
When the ignition key is placed in the RUN or ACCESSORY positions, the instrument cluster (IC) grounds circuit 1004 (LB/RD) to activate the accessory delay relay. When activated, the accessory delay relay provides voltage to the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 964 (DB/LG). The CJB supplies voltage to the power window switches through circuit 170 (RD/LB).

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Accessory delay relay
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- IC
