PINPOINT TEST F: THE TACHOMETER IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
The instrument cluster (IC) receives the engine rpm data from the PCM over the high speed controller area network (HS-CAN) communication bus. The instrument cluster (IC) commands the tachometer according to the data received from the PCM.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- PCM
- Instrument cluster (IC)
