Test V: The Powertrain Malfunction (Wrench) Indicator Is Never/Always On

PINPOINT TEST V: THE POWERTRAIN MALFUNCTION (WRENCH) INDICATOR IS NEVER/ALWAYS ON

Normal Operation
The instrument cluster (IC) receives the electronic throttle control status from the PCM over the communication network. When a system concern is detected, the PCM sends the instrument cluster (IC) a command signal to illuminate the powertrain malfunction (wrench) indicator.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- PCM
- Instrument cluster (IC)

V1-V5:
