Pinpoint Test A: All Power Windows are Inoperative

Normal Operation
Under normal operation, the Smart Junction Box (SJB) grounds the accessory delay relay coil circuit to activate the relay. When the accessory delay relay is active, voltage is sent to the LH front window control switch through circuit CBP80 (YE/GN). The LH front window control switch is grounded through circuit GD133 (BK).
This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Circuit breaker
- Wiring, terminals or connectors
- Accessory delay relay
- SJB
- LH front window control switch
PINPOINT TEST A: ALL POWER WINDOWS ARE INOPERATIVE

A1 CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE LH FRONT WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH - CIRCUIT CBP80 (YE/GN)
- Disconnect: LH Front Window Control Switch C504A.
- Ignition ON.
- Measure the voltage between LH front window control switch C504A-2, circuit CBP80 (YE/GN), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes
GO to A2.
No
GO to A3.

A2 CHECK THE GROUND TO THE DRIVER WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH - CIRCUIT GD133 (BK)
- Ignition OFF.
- Measure the resistance between LH front window control switch C504B-7, circuit GD133 (BK), harness side and ground.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
INSTALL a new driver window control switch. REFER to Window Control Switch Service and Repair. TEST the system for normal operation.
No
REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.

A3 CHECK CIRCUIT CBP80 (YE/GN) FOR AN OPEN
- Disconnect: SJB C2280A.
- Ignition OFF.
- Measure the resistance between LH front window control switch C504A-2, circuit CBP80 (YE/GN), harness side and SJB C2280A-29, circuit CBP80 (YE/GN), harness side.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
Yes
VERIFY SJB circuit breaker 1 (25A) is OK. If OK, GO to Pinpoint Test I to diagnose the accessory delay relay circuit. Pinpoint Test I: The Delayed Accessory Is Inoperative
If not OK, REFER to the Wiring Diagrams to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. Diagrams By Number
No
