Removal and Installation

1. Remove the lower steering column trim panel.

2. Remove the tilt lever dust boot.

3. Remove the screw and the tilt lever.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

4. Remove the screws and the lower steering column shroud.

5. Remove the upper steering column shroud.

6. Disconnect the Transmission Control Switch (TCS) electrical connector.

7. Remove the screws from the selector lever boot, and disconnect the boot from the steering column.

8. Remove the selector lever bolt.
- To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).

9. Remove the selector lever.

10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
