Removal

1. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) assembly and ACL outlet tube. For additional information, refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering Intake Air System Components - Exploded View.

2. NOTE: The red clip must be pulled out before disconnecting the electrical connector.

Disconnect the Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) electrical connector.

3. NOTE: The red clip must be pulled out before disconnecting the electrical connector.

Disconnect the Throttle Position (TP) sensor electrical connector.

4. Remove the 4 bolts and the Throttle Body (TB).
- Discard the TB gasket.

Installation

1. Install a new TB gasket, position the TB and tighten the 4 bolts in 2 stages.
- Stage 1: Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

- Stage 2: Tighten an additional 90 degrees.

2. Connect the TP sensor electrical connector.
- Push back the red clip.

3. Connect the ETC electrical connector.
- Push back the red clip.

4. Install the ACL assembly and ACL outlet tube. For additional information, refer to Intake Air Distribution and Filtering Intake Air System Components - Exploded View.
