Removal

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. Remove the 5 pushpins and the radiator grille.

3. Remove the transmission fluid cooler hoses from the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler.

4. Remove the 3 bolts and the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler.

Installation

1. Install the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler and the 3 bolts.
- Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).

2. Install the transmission fluid cooler hoses to the auxiliary transmission fluid cooler. Install the hose clamps.

3. Install the radiator grille.

4. Fill the transmission with the specified type and quantity of transmission fluid. 5. Check for leaks.
