C: Rapid Continuous Flashing of Air Bag Indicator

Electrical Schematic:

Normal Operation
Each primary crash air bag sensor has two wires. One wire is used for air bag deployment and monitoring the primary crash air bag sensor's connection to the air bag diagnostic monitor (see DTC 41 diagnosis for details). The other wire is used for monitoring the mounting (ground) of the primary crash air bag sensor to sheet metal (see DTCs 44, 45, and 46 diagnosis for details). If the code 41 diagnosis reveals that all three primary crash air bag sensors are not connected, and if the code 44, 45 and 46 diagnosis reveals that all three primary crash air bag sensors are not properly grounded, then the diagnostic monitor will flash the air bag indicator continuously at a fast rate.

Possible Causes
Rapid continuous flashing of the air bag indicator can be caused by the following:
1. All primary crash air bag sensors disconnected from the wiring harness.
