B2435
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTIONThe seat module uses a thermistor to monitor the heated seat temperature. The seat module sends a 5 volt signal to the Temperature Sensor and then monitors the sensor return circuit to adjust the seat temperature as necessary.
CONDITIONS FOR RUNNING THE DTC
The seat module must be powered with 9-16 volts.
CONDITIONS FOR SETTING THE DTC
The seat module sees the heat sensor is above 4.5 volts or below 0.5 volts. The seat module will set the DTC if the maximum duration of time has passed for the seat to achieve the desired temperature.
ACTION TAKEN WHEN THE DTC SETS
The seat module will disable the Heated Seats.
CONDITIONS FOR CLEARING THE DTC
^ The DTC will clear when the DSM no longer detects a fault.
^ A history DTC will be cleared after completing 100 consecutive ignition cycles.
DIAGNOSTIC AIDS
If the DTC is only found in history, the fault may be intermittent. Refer to Testing for Intermittent and Poor Connections in Diagnostic Aids.
