DTC C0900

Circuit Description
The electronic brake control module (EBCM) cannot operate normally, when system voltage is too high.

DTC Descriptor
This diagnostic procedure supports the following DTC:
DTC C0900 Device Voltage High

Conditions for Running the DTC
The ignition is ON.

Conditions for Setting the DTC
^ The EBCM detects ignition voltage is greater than 17.5 volts.
^ The vehicle achieves a speed greater than 7 km/h (4 mph).

Action Taken When the DTC Sets
If equipped, the following actions occur:
^ The EBCM disables the ABS/dynamic rear proportion (DRP).
^ The EBCM disables the TCS.
^ The Antilock Brake System (ABS) indicator turns ON.
^ The brakes message is displayed.
^ The traction fault message is displayed.





Conditions for Clearing the DTC
The conditions for setting the DTC are no longer present and you use the scan tool Clear DTCs function.
