Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Loosen the outlet duct clamps at the air cleaner assembly and the turbocharger.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.



Installation Procedure


Note

The air cleaner outlet duct must be fully seated against the positive stop feature on the turbocharger inlet and also must be fully seated against the positive stop features on both sides of the air cleaner assembly.






1. Install the air cleaner outlet duct.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution) .

2. Tighten the outlet duct clamps at the turbocharger and the air cleaner assembly.

Tighten the clamps to 4 Nm (35 lb in).
