Oil Pump and Torque Converter Housing

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

^ Tool Required:
- J 22888-D Side Bearing Remover

1. Rotate transmission to the upright position.
2. Seven bolts securing oil pump assembly to transmission case.
3. Using a J 22888-D remove oil pump assembly.
4. Bearing and race from rear of oil pump assembly.
5. Two bolts remaining from torque converter housing.
6. Holding the overdrive input shaft by hand, remove the torque converter housing and O-ring from the transmission case.
