Reverse Brake Piston

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

^ Tool Required:
- J 41681 Clutch Spring Compressor
- J 23327 Clutch spring Compressor





1. Two bolts and brake apply cover from transmission case.





2. Using J 41681 and J 23327 compress reverse brake piston and remove snap ring.





3. Cover reverse brake piston with a Clean cloth and apply low compressed air slowly to the fluid passage B shown in the image while holding fluid passage A closed until the air pressure forces the outer reverse brake piston, reaction sleeve and inner reverse brake piston from the transmission.
4. O-Ring seals from the inner and outer reverse brake pistons.
