DTC 30: Motor Current Signal Circuits Problem
1. Reset the MCM.
2. Remove the No. 15 EPS (40 A) fuse from the underhood fuse/relay box.
3. Start the engine. Raise the engine to 3,500 rpm with no load (in neutral) until the battery level gauge indicates above two-thirds.
4. Accelerate using wide open throttle from 32 - 64 mph (20 - 40 km/h) in 3rd gear (CVT: in D position).
Is DTC 30 indicated?
YES- Replace the U phase motor current sensor, V phase motor current sensor, and W phase motor current sensor.
NO- Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose wires at the U phase motor current sensor/V phase motor current sensor/W phase motor current sensor and at the MCM.
