DTC 58: Charge/Discharge Balance Problem
1. Check the 12 V battery.
Is 12 V battery OK ?
YES- Go to step 4.
NO- Go to step 2.
2. Charge or replace the 12 V battery.
3. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), start the engine and watch the charging system indicator.
Does the charging system indicator come on and then go off after the engine starts?
YES- System is OK at this time.
NO- Go to step 4.
4. Check the idle speed.
Is it normal?
YES- Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time.
NO- Repair as necessary.
