DTC P1308 Acceleration Sensor Signal Check LowDESCRIPTION
The acceleration sensor is used to sense rough road conditions. The sensor's signal is used by the Engine Control Module (ECM) to prevent wrongful misfire detection
FAILURE CONDITIONS (FOR P1308)
The ECM will set a code and the MIL will turn on if the acceleration sensor signal indicates an acceleration of 0.3 g or greater when the vehicle speed is zero during two driving cycles. This code indicates some type of bump being read, with the car speed at zero, by the acceleration sensor or ECM.
