P0615 STARTER RELAY

DTC DETECTION LOGIC







DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE


1. PRECONDITIONING

If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" has been previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before conducting the next test.
- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK DTC DETECTION

With CONSULT
1.Turn ignition switch ON.
2.Shift the selector lever to "P" or "N" position and wait at least 10 seconds.
3.Check DTC.
Is "P0615" detected?
YES- Go to "Diagnosis Procedure" .
NO- INSPECTION END.


Diagnosis Procedure

Regarding Wiring Diagram information, refer to "Wiring Diagram" Electrical Diagrams.

1. CHECK STARTER RELAY SIGNAL

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
3.Turn ignition switch ON.
4.Check voltage between IPDM E/R harness connector terminal and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- GO TO 3.
NO- GO TO 2.

2. CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN TCM AND IPDM E/R

1.Turn ignition switch OFF.
2.Disconnect TCM connector.
3.Check continuity between TCM harness connector terminal and IPDM E/R harness connector terminal.

4.Check continuity between TCM harness connector terminal and ground.





Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Check intermittent incident. Refer to "Intermittent Incident" Intermittent Incident.
NO- Repair or replace damaged parts.

3. DETECT MALFUNCTIONING ITEM

Check the following items:
- Harness for open between IPDM E/R and BCM. Refer to "Wiring Diagram" [1][2]Electrical Diagrams.
- IPDM E/R
- BCM
Is the inspection result normal?
YES- Check intermittent incident. Refer to "Intermittent Incident" Intermittent Incident.
NO- Repair or replace damaged parts.
