HOOD LOCK

HOOD LOCK : Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

1.Remove front fender protector LH. Refer to "FENDER PROTECTOR : Removal and Installation" Removal and Installation.
2.Remove hood lock assembly bolts.
3.Disconnect hood lock control cable from hood lock assembly.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Be careful not to bend cable too much, keeping the radius 100 mm (3.94 in) or more.
- Check that hood lock control cable is properly engaged with hood lock assembly.
- After installation, perform hood assembly adjustment procedure. Refer to "HOOD ASSEMBLY : Adjustment" Adjustments.
- After adjusting, perform hood lock inspection. Refer to "Inspection" Inspection.
